Hi, I'm Liz! I would describe myself as a maker- through and through. Whether we're talking a craft/DIY project, making a comfy home, creating a dinner or hosting a party. I am a maker! It's something that has stayed consistent throughout my entire life. I've been inspired by both my mom and stepmom who are both creative (in different ways). I went to college and studied Metalsmithing /jewelry design and help run a Jewelry Manufacturing company M-F and absolutely love the business, people, and creating that I do there. In 2013 I married my Joe and dove into wedding crafting. You can see some details of our DIY wedding here. Now I focus on making a happy, crafty, DIY home full of antiques and one of kind pieces. There is nothing I like more than incorporating something I've made intou our home decore.
I started this site- Makeher because I find myself wanting to connect to people who are like me: Makehers. I'm hoping to make friends and learn from other creatives out there and to share the passion that I have for these things.
